What a gorgeous photo! I love Hawaii. The first time we visited we took a drive around and I kept telling my husband to pull over so I could get a picture of the glorious view. After stopping every half mile or so, my dh said to stop taking pictures already! LOL!!

Wow, thank you very much for this honour, Nicholas.
It's beautiful, I'm really stunned by the beauty of Honolulu.
So mahalo nui loa (haha, I learned already) for taking pictures for my favourite CityDailyPhoto-blog, and good luck with finding more of those great motives (I think this one was for no reason, how can you NOT take a pretty picture there?!).
So, I'll start saving money now to be able to visit you (See you in 15 years then =).
Lots of love from Germany,
MoonSoleil

Thanks for stopping by to all of you and its cool that this may be the first DP photo on a canoe!

Heya Lisi - plan early because from what I understand, things get booked up quite a lot these days since more people are traveling.

Thanks to Denton for pointing that tidbit fact out so the next photo will be dedicated to you =)

To answer Mark's question, I think the water is around 70 something degrees (22 degrees celsius) - its an approximation but I know its warm enough that all sorts of ocean creatures migrate to hawaiian waters during the winter season from December to February. I've never needed to use any wetsuit when I paddle my canoe out to the ocean and jump in the deep blue pacific.

Hi Carol, I enjoyed reading your comment - thats how I feel when I visit other places! =)

To MoonSoleil - I think I will have to dedicate the next photo to you as well since the photo will prove that it is possible to take a not so pretty picture ;)

Mahalo nui loa to ya all!
