Chef Mavro

Harbour CourtPeaking through the leaves is Harbor Court - located at 66 Queen Street and also the site of Chef Mavro's Cassis restaurant. George Mavrothalassitis is chef/proprietor of Chef Mavro restaurant in Honolulu.

He's received numerous awards including the prestigious James Beard Foundation award as the Best Chef in Hawaii and the Pacific Northwest. Mavrothalassitis was born in Marseilles, France. Chef Mavro is the exclusive Hawaii restaurant to earn Esquire Magazine’s top award, as well as Fodor's Top Ten restaurant's in the world.

too bad i didnt know it when i visited Hawaii last February..
