all of your recent surger photos are wonderful to view, and to dream about! the shade of the water and the graduated blue to turquoise to white tones are spectacular.
Refreshing!
If I were the guy at the bottom, I would be running... but that's just me - don't really like being crushed by large waves. :)
mmm....i cant see this photo via pkblogs.....

LOL, Kala - that is FANTASTIC!!! I love this shot!! I remember being exactly where the bottom guy is, when my friends and I used to do Sandy's... classic!!! Which beach is this?
This is priceless! And that aqua blue, wow!
HI Molly - this was taken at Waimea =)
well.., well...
LOL!
wow, wow, wow! Awesome shot, Kala!
the blue in this is less intense and soft
what a beautiful colour!
I think you were the safest person there... ;)
OMG is right! That shorebreak is something else. I'd be neck-breakingly dumped within a millisecond if i ventured in there!
Oh and the bottom guy better get his head and body under that wave asap!
That must have been an awesome ride. Did the guy at the bottom get under the wave?
Jen - he managed to go understand =)
HaHa! The Pacific also kicked my butt there! (I live in Cleveland and never saw waves like this!)
