What a spiritual picture - on top of the world - so beautiful and so personal with the two humans there.

You asked, Kala, how it was to meet, face-to-face, with someone I only knew on-online. It was easy to talk, since we already knew some things about each other and had blogging in common. I didn't reveal my real name or other demographic information (though she revealed hers) and so I still enjoy some anonymity. But if the two of us should run into each other around town, we will wave and know each other.

I recently saw and commented on another photo that the subject reminds me of how insignificant humans are as compared to nature. This photo does the same thing for me. I love it, even if it reminds me of my "smallness." Perhaps that's a good reminder!

Kala, have you ever taken a bad photo! haha Fantastic as usual! And I could not agree more with Kate! I often felt that way when I lived in Arizona…Big mountains and never ending desert will do that to you!
That reminds me I wanted to tell you I loved your comment on Kates “Soilders” post. I agree 100%. You’re very articulate Kala!

I love the background, it looks like a very thick grey forest from the distance. It is breathtaking.

Isn't that Kate and Jack from Lost? Ok, I had to say it because I'm hooked on the show, but your photos continue to be excellent!
