Darkness of Night
While thousands of west bound commuters were stuck in arguably one of the worst traffic jams in Hawai'is history, I journeyed to the Eastside into the dark of night in an attempt to photograph the full moon while my imagination began to creep into ghostly thoughts of the unseen around me while the dry brushes rustled in the darkness and apparition of a woman in white stood behind me as I photographed the night sky. Mouse over the image to see the final photo.

Yay .. the first!
This is a lovely night photo especially with the full moon in the sky!
Geez, that's horrible about the guy in the van...do-do-do-do! Love the moon shot...but what's that light off in the distance of the "dark" one? And why the heck are you hiding in bushes at night...didn't your Mom warn you about the boogie man? ;-)
Nevermind...just realized it's that "woman in white!" LOL! =P
the second shot (after the mouse over) is great because I like it without flash, good job island boy van man...
Wow... creepy... and a harsh night for you all... hope things are getting better! ;)
beautiful! It reminds me of a certain Bjork video.
definitely the scariest photo posted
Kala!
I love your final pict, how funny we were both taking picts of the moon! Long exposures are fun to mess around with, and what a great use of your time in a traffic jam!
Wendi
whatever she does, dont give her a ride !!!
what a charming picture....:-)
Wish I was there :-)))
hi kala ,
The first picture is impressive!
It would be a perfect scene for a horror film ...
Well done ...again
Ame: It was weird - that night there was some strange energy in the air - like someone was actually watching me from a distance in the dark - lots of unusual noises and oddly enough - no one around - NO ONE, except for whoever that person that would not come out into the open. Spooky - very spooky - the place was pitch black
HEY! Quit creeping me OUT! I'm SURE someone was there behind u...somewhere...did u hear breathing?!? I hope you were armed with more than ur camera! Well if not, then I guess u could have "flashed" them to death! LOL! ;-)
i tried the same and didn't succeed.
grr my rebellious camera
=)
This is beautiful...well both of them! Are you getting ready for Halloween with all the spooky talk going on?
hahahaha not really, I was literally spooked that night for some reason - it was truly erie and thought I would share that with you all =P
