Panoramic View of Waikiki and Diamond Head
You will need to click on this image to enlarge for closer view. This is a panaromic view of Diamond Head and Waikiki. Hopefully, Dana will be back tomorrow. This was taken last week at about 9 in the morning. The light breaking through the clouds and reflecting off the ocean's surface provided an interesting view.

Kala, on the enlarged photo i saw some hotels are very near the shore.
Does the see never come any further than that?
Oh and i don't know why or if someone already told you but for the last week(s) i have to click several times before you site comes up. Something to do with an Active X element or so being present.
Hi Dutchie, thanks for bringing that to our attention - I don't know too much about active x stuff, so I will ask the computer guru, Dana. She is much more knowledgeable than I am. As for the hotels and the ocean, unless theres a Tsunami, the ocean stays pretty calm and does not come close enough to the hotels to coz damage. Knock on wood no tsunamis come. =P
Hi Kala! this is a beautiful shot!! I love it!
Have a nice week too (now that you're very busy)!
wow =)
u're a lucky lucky man
Great shot! When I enlarged it and scrolled to the right I was ooohing and aahhing!
OK, how in the HECK did you do that pano?!? Do you have a head-cam with 8 mounted cameras...like Disney does...to do those 360 video "make-you-dizzy-and-sick" flicks? Awesome light...I shooda hiked up and looked over Diamond Head when I was there! HBTYT! ;-)
Superb bit of stitching! Was it done in Photoshop or Panofactory?
I just loved the reflections of the clouds over the sea on the left.
Curly's Photoshop
Hi there - the photo stitching was done by canon's software - I use a Canon S3 IS that has a photo stitch mode and once you download the image, you can select to stitch the photos using their software =)
Oh my gosh! The reflection of those large clouds in the ocean is just incredible. Beautiful as always, Kala.
