Baby in Daddy's Arms

I've been very busy this week so I did not take any pics today, so here's a picture I took on Sunday. In the pic is one of the finishers of the paddleboard race who was greeted by his wife and child. The child is in his arms with his blue paddleboard.

The winner of this 20+ mile (32+ km) race was Jaime Mitchell of Australia with a time of 2 hours 42 minutes. The first female finisher was Kanesa Duncan at 3 hours 12 minutes. One of the youngest participant was 12 y.o. Chris Fong who completed the short course (12+ miles = 19+ km) with a time of 1 hour 53 minutes.

This is great, it seems all the kids on the island from young age are learning water sports.
Lovely colours.

He looks as though he's about to put the kid on the paddleboard. Start them young. =) I love the colors in this picture. That sky and the water are gorgeous.

Beautiful. I like the boats too. The water looks pretty shallow for quite a distance, no? My arms are tired thinking about the races!

Hi

they don't have any baby races but the youngest participant is usually 8 years old - some start surfing at a very young age and those I believe do have competition for the younger ones - thanks for the comments and have a nice day!

Beautiful picture! Looks like the water isn't very deep there.
