Diamond Head Crater is an icon of Hawaii. Normally seen (and photographed) from the beaches of Waikiki, only the portion of the crater that points toward the ocean (on the right) is visible.

Until I saw it from this view, I never relised how big it was. I snapped this photo while celebrating with my family in Tantalus (a hill-side neighborhood) on the 4th of July holiday.
