Any Given Sunday

IMG_1330800
You find out life's a game of inches, so is football. Because in either - life or football - the margin for error is so small. I mean, one half a step too late or too early and you don't quite make it. One half second too slow, too fast and you don't quite catch it. The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break of the game, every minute, every second. On this team, we fight for that inch. On this team, we tear ourselves and everyone else around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when add up all those inches, that's gonna make the f***ing difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!

A quote from the movie, "Any Given Sunday" and like the movie, life plays itself out in a matter of inches and seconds, where the perfect timing or a slight hesitation can mean either a sheer moment of epic enjoyment or a monumental wipeout, all frozen in a freeze frame captured in this photo.
Make the most of every second of every moment in your life, or you may miss out on the biggest ride of your life... Just Do It. In the end, you will have no regrets. Have an awesome weekend!

Kala, you are waxing poetic after your hiatus from blogging! So glad that you're back, but I repeat myself. The image you posted today makes my heart stop a beat and then it sings!!

Glad you are back. Also, thanks for the email. I will also respond to that. This photo is one that makes me wonder what the poor guy is about to run into. Seems like a breaking wave or rocks and waves are right in front of him.

Love your posting again.
