Cafe Sistina
One of my fav and voted one of O'ahu's top restaurants, Cafe Sistina's interior walls are adorned with the artistic replication of the Sistine Chapel, all hand drawn by the owner, Sergio Mitrotti. Opened in 1991, it serves Northern Italian cuisine and live entertainment during the weekend and special engagements. You can read more in the link below...

Oh, I hope the owner has asked from
MICHELANGELO Buonarroti a promise to copy his work :))

and your photos too as always.
Nice weekend to you!
Unique and unusual, to say the least. Thanks for showing us another side of Hawai'i!
The menu looks great! I noticed they validate parking - do you think they would validate my plane ticket from Florida to Hawaii ;-)
Kala this pictures are stunning! Impressive.
Makes me think what am I doing here? I want to be in Hawai today!!!!
Very powerful and beautiful atmosphere in that restaurant. I hope to get back to Hawaii for a visit next year. Can't wait.
Thanks for your nice comments on my blog. Come back anytime.
So what did you have for dinner? The owner is quite an artist! The atmosphere is very inviting.
very nice place and impressing hand drawing! nice to have delicious dinner in nice environment!
I love dining in such gorgeous ambience but usually I'm put-off by the formality of dress code. Here I noticed that the diners are in casual attire.. 1 vote from me!
The photo took a long while to load but it was worth every second of it.
WOW, can I write it in bigger letters?
WOW !!!!!
This is just fantastic!
Thanks for your photos Kala, it's always a divine surprise to come here.
Going through the Sistine Chapel was so tight that I could not appreciate the art but this is fabulous. How is the food?
@Felicia- I had the Scampi lemone =)
@Liz - foods great - i love Italian - not sure what the speciality was - I was too busy looking for the scampui dish =)
@Jean - In my personal opinion, the food is great =)
that's a pretty imposing place to eat; no good for me i'd spend all my time admiring the walls instead of my wife!!
You can't help but enjoy a meal at this place. Wow! Just gorgeous. Nice concept!
