The waves looked frightening to me, so not surprised there would have been some broken boards- very impressive and great contrast with the super flat sea on the beach shot just the day before ! The sea is full of surprises...

Poor guy! Can't imagine the wave that did that. Great photo.
Wow, those waves look incredible, but then I see the broken board and imagine some bone in my body equally broken. =)
