I was waiting for the paddleboarders to pass by Makapu'u point during yesterdays race when I saw this couple from New Jersey and both happen to be photographing in the same direction, so I photographed her photographing him photographing the scenery.

hi kala,
ReplyDeletethanx for visiting me while I was gone :)
yes, I went to prague...fotos will follow soon.
the girl you liked was not me, it´s a fine friend of mine.
more about me is in the "about" page, also a pic. (I hate pics of me! I rather take others)
Héhé, well done.
ReplyDeleteThey are more interesting than what they shot as they human scale that strange landscape.
Hi Kala, sometimes I wait too but then unless they spoil the shot, I think a photo with people in is interesting
ReplyDeletesometimes if I don't want the people in the pic - I will "photoshop" the people out of it but this couple was very nice and kewl so I left them in =)
ReplyDeleteI hope they remembered the name of my blog =P
The variety of the terrain and environment is really quite amazing. Thanks for showing us so much of your beloved islands. PS And always a big thank you for stopping by and commenting.
ReplyDeleteYou simply can not make a bad photo in Hawaii, what a great scenery, shot, colours, everything and thank you for sharing it with us.
ReplyDeleteI had to look at the picture more closely, very interesting how small the man appears although it looks like they're standing one beside the other.
I have to admit, the scenery and natural sun lighting makes things very ez for my camera =)
ReplyDeleteHa ha! that's a very good one!!!
ReplyDeleteAah, but who was in the car photographing all of you..?
ReplyDeletestunning landscape....look at the huge sheet rocks compared to the people there...amazing shot:-))
ReplyDeleteLove the scenery. I am one who prefers photos without people in them. I haven't gotten proficient enough at using photo editing programs to remove people, cars, telephone poles, etc from pictures easily. It's something definitely on my to do list!
ReplyDeleteA lot less greasy food and more fantastic views goint on here!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a cool shot! Love the scenery! I was able to stumble on a site where the photographer takes photographs of photographers taking photographs...kinda how this is...will try to find that again coz it's really cool!
ReplyDeletehahaha, bet they never noticed you.
ReplyDeleteIm really very envious of the blue skies you are enjoying there!
thanks, your pics makes me remember that there is a beautiful sky beyond our dark clouds!!
the landscape is gorgeous! the different textures and colours, imagine seeing it for real!
ReplyDeleteI like the tiny men, or is the women giant, hehe. Great capture of this beautiful lanscape.
ReplyDeleteat first i thought the man was a little child standing next to the woman, too. now i know he's not a child, but a hobbit.
ReplyDeleteand thanks for the link! :)
Funny image to take! And what a landscape - WOW!
