This is another of my "This is Hawai'i..." series, and I guess all my previous photos are true as well in that regards, but these photos I think epitomizes the island image.
The photo was taken yesterday afternoon at about 5:30 PM during the North swell.
Surfing is synonymous with the Hawaiian culture and lifestyle and nothing is more highly esteemed than riding the barrel or tube - aqua blue tube - is there anything else sweeter? Gummy Bears perhaps but thats about it! =D
