For some reason I couldn't get into your site yesterday, but glad I tried again today (Wed.) because I would not have wanted to miss this foto. Makes me dream a little!!
Wow! This IS one wonderful shot!!!! Love it!
Even with a volcano haze, this is a picture of paradise.
Kala boy, it is taking ages to load your blog and it stalls at flickr...the volcanos may be doing this, they should stop smoking, LOL, but the photos are beautiful!
Wow! In the big pic that red-orange spot to the right reminded me of the two sun sunset or sunrise in Star Wars (can't remember which planet or which # movie).
what does it means "kona weather"?
Anyway the picture is stunning, and it is the kind of landscape I would like to wake up in:-)
Haze or not... that is a gorgeous photo!
Hi Lizz ... Kona weather is when...
"Several times during the year the trade winds will stop completely and the wind will switch around to come out of the south or west, bringing stormy or hot sticky weather. Islanders sometimes call this "Kona" weather, because kona means leeward or South, and this points to the direction from which these weather systems arrive."

Vog, eh? Kala I love the wave breaking over the seawall. Super shot-Kim
I get the feeling this isn't so great to breathe, but it's stunning to look at. Very nice shots.
It's a very good one!!! Taken from real life! It's a very good place to look at the sunset!

BTW, kona in Norwegian means wife :)
I didn't notice it myself earlier, but what is that secondary orb as Felicia noted?
