Deceptively Beautiful
As promised from my Friday posting, I've posted a day time photo of the same beach (sandys), buzzing with activity. The next three days, I will post images of close-up activities in this area as I write more about this beautiful yet potentially dangerous beach.
This photo was taken from the lookout. This area is also a notorious stalking ground for criminals, stealing things from vehicles when unsuspecting visitors leave their rentals unattended and unlocked to walk the short distance to the lookout. Lock your cars and windows even in the short time you will be gone - seconds is all it takes!

every rose has its thorns. but with a view like this, i can only feign envy. living next to the ocean is a dream of mine.
The water looks gorgeous. Its good to know the dangers.
A beutiful place for sure!We have our problems here too, in the high season while people are outside or by the pool thieves sneak in the house and grab anything they can find.I may add this has never yet happened to us.
looks beautiful
What beautiful shades of blue...
Nice, your commentary about the criminals is so opposite to what beautiful scenes are here. It's really a shame.
Wow... what a shame about the crime. It is still beautiful!
Thanks for all your comments - I should probably add that like anywhere else, crime happens and can be avoided with the proper precautions. In addition, police have stepped up patrols in this area. On this day that the photo was taken, a police car was sitting in the parking lot. Good to know our friends in blue and white are actively doing things to reduce this problem. =)
