  4. Hi kala,
    Good to hear you're safe.
This is a nice trail with a beautiful view. The silhouette of your friend is a very nice touch in the photo.

  5. I'm glad to hear you are all okay. My friend was going to head over there today but she canceled b/c she wasn't sure if it was a good idea. I wish I could go with her. This looks beautiful.

  6. Really gorgious shot, Kala. I love the solitary figure. It's very contemplative fo me.
Have your nerves recovered since being awakened by the quake? Coming from earthquake country myself and having been through a number of large ones, it's been my experience that everytime a large truck rolls by, there are little flashes of recognition or alarm.

  7. Kim - Fortunately, I was asleep for most of the quake so I did not experience the full breadth of it as others did. It reallllly wasnt as bad as the news coverage I saw on T.V. of it. I think I got more scared while watching the news coverage than the experience I had when the earth shook.

  10. Very interesting shot. Even though you "created" it, it took a great eye to see it. The cloud formations complete a perfect composition.
